Сьогодні, 07.05.2021 року, учитель географії та історії Яненко Марина Геннадіївна для учнів 10-А класу КЗ «Полтавська загальноосвітня школа І-ІІІ ступенів №23 Полтавської міської ради Полтавської області» провела годину спілкування, присвячену Дню пам’яті українців, які рятували євреїв під час Другої світової війни. Слухачі детально ознайомилися з поняттям «праведники народів світу», переглянули декілька онлайн-інтерв’ю з цими людьми та дізналися, що отримати відзнаку «Праведник народів світу» за ізраїльськими законами можливо лише під час особистих свідчень праведника та єврея, якого захищали.
Школярі переконалися, що одвічною дилемою людського буття споконвіку була дилема морального вибору – іншими словами, вибору між добром і злом. І ніщо так яскраво не підтверджує справедливість цього висновку, як трагічна історія Голокосту єврейського народу. Він став об’єктом страхітливої брехні, за якою незмінно йшли ненависть і насильство. Особливу сторінку у трагічному літописі Голокосту єврейського народу займають праведники, люди які ціною власної безпеки та життя допомагали рятувати єврейське населення від тотального знищення нацистським антилюдяним режимом.
Діти із зацікавленням поставилися до складної теми, такий захід їм сподобався. Ситуативно було обговорено, як вчинив би кожен із них, опинившись в непростій ситуації вибору між власним добробутом і життям чужої людини. Ми можемо пишатися нашими учнями, адже більшість із них схильна допомогти незнайомцю, а решта - (в залежності від ситуації) скоріше за все допомогла б теж. Учням стало цікаво, чи будуть відбуватися надалі подібні заходи.
Отож і в учителя є плани на майбутнє: не обходити увагою важливі теми, що формують фундаментальні людські якості.
